Foreign Travel

We offer hire vehicles with fully comprehensive insurance and breakdown cover for travel within the Republic of Ireland and most of the other European countries.  We also allow hire vehicles into Europe on COI (Company own insurance).  Foreign travel hire quotes are obtainable by phone or email only.
Conditions:

Please note foreign travel hires are subject to a higher deposit and a higher excess.  We can only insure clients strictly between the ages of 25 and 70 (inclusive) who have driven the required category of vehicle for a minimum 2 years and who have no serious points or endorsements. 

We provide foreign travel customers with a VE103 (proof of vehicle on hire and V5C details form) and also policy documents and green cards if they are hiring on our insurance (this can be arranged as quickly as a day in advance Monday to Friday).  We also provide a standard European continental pack which includes items such as fire extinguisher, first aid kit, warning triangles, bulb kit, deflectors and breathalysers.  If you will require any other items for your travel this will be down to you to check. 

N.B: Customers travelling to Paris will need a Crit'Air sticker for their low emissions zone.
